PURPOSE:
To provide service and underwriting expertise to obtain new Customer relationships as defined in the underwriting role profile
To assess the financial risk for Group Life, Income Protection and Critical Illnesses Schemes, providing quotations for EBC's and IFA's, within your Underwriting autonomy limit.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Build and maintain customer relationships.
Provide scheme underwriting expertise, the level to which varies and is defined separately.
Assess the financial risk of group schemes to include number of members, type of business, occupations, location etc.
Provide feedback to other team members.
Demonstrate expert knowledge of systems, products, processes and procedures.
To be able to provide a first class experience for Customers and to share knowledge and expertise with other team members.
Build competence through technical support, QC and control, plus feedback to other team members and activities to support the team leaders.
Achieve targets to maintain and improve productivity, quality and service standards.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
GCSE level or equivalent, including Biology if possible.
Experience with customer contact.
Group Risk experience essential (A3) or preferable (A2)
