Trainee Claims Handler - Property
Location: Bristol
Salary: £13,000 - £15,000
This is an excellent opportunity for some one looking to work in a claims environment to join one of the top UK Insurance Companies. Our client is seeking some one from a solid Customer services background who demonstrates a willingness to learn and develop their knowledge of Insurance Claims
Responsibilities:
Deal with the telephone calls in a customer focused way ensuring that service levels and standards are maintained
To appoint nominated suppliers/contractors and loss adjusters
Fairly negotiate claims settlements in a cost-effective manner up to £500
Communicate clearly, accurately and effectively with internal and external customers
Skills:
Previous experience within a role that required negotiations would be beneficial
GCSE Including Mathematics and English or equivalent
Excellent Communication Skills and a strong telephone manner
Computer Literate
