The Job/Duties

Working as a Senior Operational Compliance Officer you will be required to deputise for the Operational Compliance Manager on all key activities when appropriate, making decisions and recommendations to the Credit and Compliance Director on key Regulatory matters. Further responsibilities include: -

 Day-to-day management of the Operational Compliance Officers ensuring that full delivery of the areas obligations are met.
 Developing and leading the team through coaching and stretching assignments and delivery to tight deadlines within the regulatory framework.
 Managing both internal and external outsourcing processes and day-to-day activities.

The Person
Previous experience gained in an operational compliance environment.
Ideally previous experience gained in regulatory matters, relating to all Secured and Unsecured Lending.
Demonstrable evidence of written and oral communication skills
Excellent understanding of the compliance regimes governing consumer lending enabling pragmatic application
Previous experience within a management role
Proven ability to apply a risk based approach
5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above incl. Maths and English

Professional Qualifications

Full CeMAP (or equivalent) qualification
