PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To manage the integrity, promotion, maintenance and development of new and existing pension product, or products, within the range manufactured or sourced by the company.
The principal role is to support the introduction of a range of products and services and improvements to existing products to provide pension savings solutions for the Bank's retail and commercial customers
The jobholder will/may: -
Manage internal promotional and literature projects to support the range of products developed by the broader pensions team
Deliver medium sized elements of the pension savings projects, and make a significant contribution towards major project initiatives.
Responsible for pensions savings products and projects being managed in accordance with agreed bank policy and guidelines.
Have an understanding of current bank strategy, together with developments in their department, and in IT. This translates into the formulation of strategies that use technology and effective design to secure competitive advantage, reduce costs and improve income.
The jobholder may be involved in the development of the project strategy
KNOWLEDGE
A good understanding of the UK retail and commercial banking market (products, service, markets & distribution)
A detailed understanding of business disciplines coupled with a working knowledge of the range of the personal banking products and services offered by the Company
An understanding of the end to end processes involved in delivering the full service
EXPERIENCE
Relevant retail banking or insurance experience is required
Evidence of working with cross functional teams to deliver customer focused propositions
Confident, articulate, strategic in outlook with well developed change management skills

Well developed analytical, problem solving and communication skills with demonstrable experience of working cross-functionally
