Position: Development Underwriter - Legal Expenses
Location: London / South East
Salary £50,000 Extensive Benefits and bonus
Out highly respected Client are looking to appoint an additional Development Underwriter to their team to cover the London Market and surrounding region, due to their excellent performance over several years.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To develop profitable Legal Expense business within the London Market and surrounding area's
To underwrite business within agreed limits
Manage and develop a portfolio of clients
Maintain a high level service to existing clients
Follow up on any leads provided by head office / other Development Underwriters
Ensure all work is carried out in a compliant fashion
Skills:
Candidates should have previous exposure to the Legal Expense market
Hands on Knowledge of Underwriting and Sales
Previous experience of the London market
A good understanding of current legislation affecting the legal expense market
Knowledge of competitors products is highly advantageous
Progression towards professional qualifications is desirable.
