Position: Legal Expense Underwriter
Location: Bristol
Salary: To £30,000 Excellent Benefits
This market leading insurer is looking to increase their offering to their clients with the addition of a new Underwriter to their Legal Expense operations. Working closely with Senior Underwriters and the Business Development team candidates will be responsible for assessing Legal Expense risks from a variety of clients nationwide.
Due to the nature of the company each risk is unique and as such each policy is bespoke, this means clients have exceptional policy coverage and are consistently able to speak to technically proficient contacts within the company.
Candidates should be capable quoting on risks of up to £50,000 and be adaptable to the consistently changing markets.
Travel to other sites nationwide may be required
Skills
Candidates should have experience of underwriting legal expense insurance policies with full working knowledge of the legal expense market
Proven experience in an underwriting environment
Knowledge of the Actuarial triangle
A strong skill set which should include: Strong negotiation, analytical and communication (Both Written and Verbal) skills
