Associate Personal Injury Solicitor

Salary: To £65,000 Benefits

This expanding legal 500 firm are looking to add a personal injury solicitor to their rapidly growing team in their Birmingham office. Working closely with a dedicated and passionate senior partner you will be responsible for a varied caseload of Defendant Personal Injury cases.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To provide high level advice on complex and high value cases with relation to the defence of Personal Injury cases.
To provide advice on the full range of personal injury claims including; Fatal Accidents, Aviation Injuries, Product Liability, Occupational Cancers, Sports Injuries amongst others
To assist with the identification on reporting of fraudulent claims
To liaise with the partners to ensure the correct business development work is being completed
Develop and assist with progressing less experienced solicitors
Skill:
You should have considerable working knowledge of Personal Injury and be able to provide high level advice to a range of Public and Private Sector Clients
Have experience of dealing with both contentious and non contentious work.
With a skill set that includes high levels of negotiation, IT, analytical, drafting and communication skills.
Ideally you will have 5-6 years post qualification experience with high levels of commercial awareness and preferably some exposure to in-house work.
