Senior Scheme Underwriter
Location: Bristol
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Bonus & Benefits
A highly reputable Insurance Company based in the centre of Bristol with an international presence is currently seeking a Senior Commercial Underwriter to join their Schemes team. Your objectives will be to profitably write new and existing business in accordance with company objectives.
Responsibilities:
Identify, research and develop new schemes and initiatives
Develop strong relationships with new and existing brokers and clients
Coach and develop scheme underwriters and assistant underwriters
Assist in development of wordings and underwriting guides
Working with the Commercial Manager, direct, organise, develop and manage the
portfolio team, so as to ensure that people are available and aligned with business
needs
Support the Commercial Manager and Product Leader to develop the annual
business plan for the portfolio
Act as a referral point for new and existing scheme business and underwrite
complex cases
