Claims Manager - Class Action Claims
Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 + Excellent Benefits
Location: Luton
Our client is a FTSE 100 company and a leading organisation within their sector, operating in 180 countries worldwide. This organisation is seeking a Collective Redress Manager to manage a team of claims handlers, specialised in dealing with Class Action Claims brought against the group companies.
Responsibilities
Ensure Claims Handlers are resolving claims in the most commercially beneficial way and recover any unavoidable outlay
Work with your team to achieve all performance targets whilst maintaining the highest level of service to customers and stakeholders
Improve the level of service delivered by the department by conducting effective side by side coaching to the department's staff
Regularly liaising with all relevant insurers to ensure that they are provided with adequate information in respect of group action claims
To energise and inspire your team, by conducting well planned team talks and setting competency based SMART objectives and take timely action in performance management
Ensure that all compensation payments made by the team are within their authority or have been given appropriate authority
Identify any areas of possible cost saving and effect a solution
Responsibilities
Experience within the Insurance /Legal Industry
Strong knowledge of Class Action Claims, Liability and Quantum
Proven ability to manage and lead a team of Claims Handlers
Ability to understand and apply statute and case law
