Commercial Account Handler
Salary: Up to £22,000
Location: Newquay
We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Account Handler on behalf of one of the leading Insurance Brokers in the market. You will be responsible for the provision of insurance covers from both clients and Account Executives as and when required, ensuring clients' insurance needs are fully catered for and the service they receive is exceptional.
This is a varied Account Handling role where you will be dealing with a broad range of clients from SME to Corporate market. You will be provided with a competitive salary along with the opportunity to advance your career.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients
Preparation of renewal reports and new business quotations
Put up quotations both for new and renewal business, and to manage renewal process, placing cover on best terms where appropriate
Deal with a broad range of commercial insurance policies varying in premium size
Develop and maintain positive ongoing relationships with insurers and underwriters
Negotiate and achieve best claims settlements for clients
Process Mid Term Adjustments to insurers following notification from clients
Skills
Experience within Insurance Broking dealing with Commercial Insurance policies
Excellent relationship management and development skills
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
