Big Ticket Re-Insurance Solicitor – 2-4 Yrs PQE – London

Our client, a Legal 500 firm are looking to add to their growing Re-Insurance group with the addition of a solicitor to the team to work closely with the senior partner to continue the development and expansion of the group and to handle a varied international caseload of reinsurance cases
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage a complex caseload of International Re-Insurance work on a day to day basis
Assist the Senior Partner with high profile cases and undertake some of their work as required
Manage clients on a day to day basis, including meetings and conference calls
Liaise with Key stakeholders as required
Work effectively with support and marketing staff to enable the re-insurance group to move forward
Attend Networking events and conferences
Continue with own professional development
Skills:
A qualified solicitor with 2 years Post Qualification Experience within Re-Insurance Law within a practice environment
A good level of knowledge of General Litigation, with exposure to Property and Construction Risks, Product Liability, Casualty and Multi Party Dispute Resolution
A high level understanding of insurance and re-insurance
Able to handle complex cases on a day to day basis
A varied skill set that includes high level communication (both written and verbal), Negotiation, Litigation, Networking and IT Skills
