Commercial Manager
Location: Essex
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
A Reputable Insurance Broker is seeking a new Commercial Manager due to natural organic growth within the company. The successful Candidate will manage a team of 2 Commercial Account handlers whilst having a very hands on management approach and growing the book of SME Clients.
The ideal Candidate will be a Commercial Account Executive looking to move in to a senior position where you will be seen to give advice and mentor as well as grow the current book
Responsibilities
Manage a team of 2 Commercial Account handlers whilst maintaining and growing a book of business worth £2 ½ million GWP
Supervise the team, leading by example, setting the tone of behavior and motivating and mentoring team members
You will be expected to utilise referrals to gain new business from market campaigns developed in line with individual and company strategy
Develop existing relationships by Arranging and attending Client meetings for new Business and Renewals
Manage the workflow to ensure that team KPI's are maintained and reported
Skills
Good knowledge of the Commercial industry especially within the SME market
Good sales and Negotiation skills
Leadership experience, including performance management, appraisals and training & development
