Regional Independent Financial Advisors based in Yeovil are seeking a proactive, self motivated Financial Planning Administrator.
The successful candidate will provide administration support to consultants and paraplanners, including preparation for client meetings, investment summaries, creating and maintaining client records (using 1st Adviser Office) and processing new business applications.
Key duties include:
* Confirming client appointments by letter and enclosing relevant compliance documents.
* Preparing meeting packs for client meetings.
* Preparation of Investment Summaries, ensuring all data is kept up to date and is accurate.
* Processing client authority letters and obtaining detailed policy information.
* Updating and maintaining 1st Adviser Office with client personal and policy information.
* Processing new business applications and following through until completion.
* Dealing with client and product provider queries.
Successful candidates for this role will have;
* Experience providing administrative support to Independent Financial Advisors who deal with pensions, investments and protection.
* Experience of working in an administration environment.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Ability to clearly communicate with clients by post, email and telephone.
* Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines and service standards.
* Experience of using 1st Software / maintaining accurate client records.
* Working towards the Certificate in Financial Planning (CFP) an advantage.
