Senior Commercial Underwriter
Location: Bristol
Salary: Up to £40,000 + Benefits
To underwrite commercial risks from a designated panel of intermediaries within agreed authority levels, to achieve profitable growth in line with Company and branch objectives.
To provide a reference point and training for technical underwriting and product knowledge within the branch.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Underwrite new and existing business profitability, accurately and in line with established Underwriting practice
Underwrite larger and more complex cases
Maintain and develop business relationships with intermediaries
Actively encourage generation of profitable new business
Respond to customers requests for information
Complete the Managing Underwriting procedure for a panel of Underwriters

'A' Level or equivalent education
