Bespoke Commercial Underwriter
Salary: £17,000 - £21,750
Location: Gloucester
As part of a well-established and successful Company you will contribute to the servicing of business handled by the team, dealing with all matters allocated effectively to ensure high underwriting and customer care standards are maintained. Responsibilities:
You?ll be ensuring that high underwriting and customer care standards are maintained in handling cases allocated to you, and will be responsible for maintaining records and management information on them
Liaise with other areas of the company and external contacts, maintaining and developing good relationships in order to support the wider business and customer care to maximise the business potential
At all times you?ll provide a professional service and ensure that correspondence follows the company?s guidelines and supports the company?s philosophy of underwriting business for profit
You?ll also be providing technical assistance to others in the team and maintaining and developing strong relationships with key contacts in order to support the wider business
Skills:
You should be organised, a team player, have good communication skills and be computer literate
You should enjoy working in a busy environment
You will also need to demonstrate an ability to maintain good working relationships with key Intermediary customers and have sound commercial underwriting ability
You will also need to have an interest in self-development, as successful candidates will be expected to be CIP qualified or working towards
