This client is a leading international practice with a solid profile and proven expertise in this area of work, regularly advising its national and international clients on a mix of both contentious and non-contentious construction matters. The role on offer is for an excellent litigation/arbitration construction solicitor with at least 4 years+ PQE to join the London office and be exposed to cutting edge, high end quality construction work on behalf of contractors, project companies, developers, public bodies, funders, insurers and a wide range of private and public sector clients.
Working within this highly rated construction, energy and infrastructure group, the successful candidate will possess proven litigation skills, a degree of commercial acumen and impressive client handling and organisational skills. A specialist construction background or international arbitration experience essential, particularly if that involves some experience in energy disputes. Candidate with ICC arbitration, civil code jurisdiction or foreign language skills are of particular interest given the firm's international workload. Candidates must be technically excellent with a strong client focused approach. Candidates with a greater level of PQE will also be considered for this position.
