Salary: £23,000 - £27,000

Our client is currently looking for a Personal Injury Specialist to join their existing Personal Injury team, become the Technical point for referrals and to be part of a key expansion program that will offer development and opportunity
Responsibilities:
To apply appropriate investigation to each new claim so as to enable an estimate to be created and to ensure that the estimate is adjusted to reflect payments made and any changes in known information
You will be responsible for assessing quantum and liability and taking relevant action to ensure that the claims are managed as efficiently as possible
To provide customers with a quality service in line with the departmental plan
To handle allocated claims in accordance with department procedure, policy cover and legal liability
Managing an allocation of technical files within pre determined Company guidelines
Skills required:
You do not need to have supervisory experience but needs to be a real specialist
Prospective applicants are required to have previous Personal Injury Claims handling experience gained within an insurance company ideally within a Motor and/or Employers Liability environment
A skilful communicator and negotiator capable of dealing effectively with a wide variety of contacts
Ideally success at the Chartered Insurance Institute CIP or ACII examination
Demonstrate thorough understanding of the insurance requirements of the Road Traffic Act, Motor Insurance Bureau and the motor claims process and an understanding of the Liability claims process
