Personal Injury EL / PL
Location: Bristol
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
This is an exciting opportunity for a Personal Injury Claims Handler with Employers Liability and Public Liability knowledge to join one of the UK top Legal firms.
You will be expected to handle your own mixed caseload of casualty and disease cases commensurate with your experience as well as providing support to the partners and senior lawyers in the team on larger matters.
You will be provided with ongoing training and support
Responsibilities:
Act as a first point of contact for designated clients and will be expected to build relationships with client contacts at all levels
Obtaining and drafting pleadings, witness statements and letters of response
Conduct face to face negotiations / mediation of claims
Prepare detailed schedules of damage and counter schedules in high value claims
Skills:
GCSE in Mathematics and English, Degree or equivalent
2 years experience would be beneficial
Good Negotiation Skills
Confident running own case load and advising others in the team
