Commercial Account Handler
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000
Location: Hertfordshire
Our client is a leading UK Independent Insurance Broker and is currently seeking a Commercial Account Handler to provide general broking support to their clients and external Account Executives. Your key responsibilities will be to process new business and service ongoing business and renewals in an accurate and timely manner to ensure the highest possible service level to the policy holder.
Responsibilities
Provide first class General Insurance advice to existing and prospective clients
To provide high quality Account Handling to clients and Account Executives
Support a team of Account Executives providing a level of customer service to meet and exceed the expectations of clients
Ensure complete and accurate client and accounting records are maintained on paper files and electronically
Provide clients and Account Executives with regular updates on new business, amendments and renewals
Understand and adhere to Professional standards and Procedures and Compliance Procedures in all business dealings
Maintain an up to date Personal Development Plan undertaking relevant learning and development in accordance with this
Skills
Previous experience within Commercial Insurance Broking within a similar role
Demonstrate excellent communication skills
Ability to develop relationships within a commercial environment
Progression towards ACII is desirable
