Job Summary / Purpose:
Facilitating the changing nature of a complex start-up business and associated Telesales department.
Lead the telesales team to achieve and exceed sales conversion targets and customer service standards, through motivation and development.
Key Result Areas:
Achieve agreed sales conversion rates, productivity & service targets across multi-products
Ensure compliance with Regulatory Body codes of practice
Development of people measured through Key Performance Indicators and by competency
Specialist Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
Experience of working in a Direct call centre environment, preferably within an Insurance sales or service environment however will also consider from general financial service background
Proven track record of achievement in a Sales environment working to target
Relevant experience required of leading and managing a team
Relevant experience required within a contact centre sales environment
Good knowledge and application of sales techniques and models
Computer literate
Ability to work as part of a team
Proven ability to learn and retain knowledge in products, systems and processes
Good communication and listening skills
Established product and industry knowledge within chosen field
Flexible and adaptable to the demands of a new start-up business
Takes initiative to prompt and realise ideas for continuous improvement
