Senior Commercial Claims Handler
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 + Benefits
Location: Gloucester
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Claims Handler to join a leading Insurance organisation within their commercial property team. Your role will be to manage and oversee high value, complex claims whilst representing the companies interests to optimise performance and cost effectiveness.
Responsibilities
Handle a caseload of high value, contentious and sensitive claims from inception through to settlement
Develop key relationships with both internal and external customers
To support and assist the team leader as the technical point of referral for claims handlers
Carry out internal claims audits and the audit of external suppliers and managed companies
Provide training to develop the skills and knowledge of the claims handlers
Skills
Experience in commercial property claims handling is required
ACII qualified or working towards equivalent qualification
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Impeccable customer service skills
Good attention to detail
