An excellent opportunity has arisen in the Bristol area, working for one of the countries leading insurance companies.
The role involves underwriting new and existing Commercial Property business across a defined region, where your extensive property experience and broker relationships in the region will be utilised to their full capability.
General Description:
Working with the Commercial Manager, direct, organise, develop and manage the portfolio team, so as to ensure that people are available and aligned with business needs
Support the Commercial Manager and Product Leader to develop the annual business plan for the portfolio
Underwrite New and existing corporate property business
Develop strong relationships with new and existing brokers and clients
Support the development of cross class business opportunities
Participate in the review and analysis of the portfolio to identify progress towards business plan
Skills and Experience:
Degree qualified or ACII / NEBOSH
Extensive Property Underwriting experience
High level of technical expertise
Strong negotiation skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Local market awareness and broker relationships
Broker development acumen and experience
