Large and well respected Insurance Brokers based in Darlington is looking to recruit an Underwriter/Trainee Underwriter to underwrite commercial risks.
As an Underwriter/Trainee Underwriter you will be responsible for a panel of intermediaries, dealing with enquiries by telephone, correspondence and in person, providing quotations for farm, motor and other scheme insurance in respect of new business and fully servicing existing accounts. Undertakes renewal reviews and applies terms as necessary.
It is essential when applying for this role you possess substantial commercial underwriting experience from either a broker or company background. You will possess excellent communication skills, be IT literate and be looking for a long-term career within the industry. IFC 1, 2 & 3 preferred but progress made is essential.
