A Loss Adjuster required dealing with commercial property, liability property and personal injury, mainly in the South of England.
Responsibilities:
Undertake a designated portfolio of claims from initial receipt through to conclusion.
Appointments to be made on immediate receipt of claim.
Reports to be dictated and issued immediately after visit in accordance with Principal’s Service Standards.
Ensuring that Diary is kept up to date.
Actively negotiate settlement with insurer, insured/representative, and third party.
Responsibility for referring relevant cases to senior management.
Skills:
Should possess excellent negotiating skills.
Should be well organised and methodical in their approach to their work.
Confident computer literacy skills and familiarity with office applications.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Be able to organise own time and prioritise work.
Be reliable and maintain confidentiality.
Experience in adjusting commercial property, liability property and personal injury.
