Motor Claims Negotiator - East Sussex - up to £22,000
Our client is actively seeking experience individuals to take responsibility for handling Motor Claims on behalf of our principals, with full autonomy to handle and negotiate claims within agreed limits through to final settlement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Processing claims in accordance with the claims procedure manual.
Checking and assessing Liability and providing advice on the claim to the customer.
Obtaining eye-witness or police reports as appropriate
Negotiating a final settlement figure.
Pursuing a recovery of our principal's outlay.
Ensuring claims are handled in a pro-active manner in accordance with agreed Service Levels.
Maintaining database to ensure management information is accurate.
Deal with telephone enquiries, from customers or other parties, following up on all actions to completion of issue/enquiry
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Good organization skills are vital
Excellent client relationship skills
Excellent Negotiation skills
Excellent verbal and written communications Skills
Knowledge of Excel is essential
There should be a good working knowledge of current protocols
Ideally either minimum 2 years motor claims handling experience or Motor AD experience required.
Educated to at least GCSE level (or equivalent)
