This well established Insurance Broker are based in Derbyshire and are looking for a Commercial Account Executive to service an existing book of business.
The role will primarily be to retain an existing book of business, together with a some development of new business. You will visit clients at their premises to give guidance and advice on their insurance requirements, keeping within professional standards. Clients will be from all trade sectors with premiums ranging from £5,000 to £150,000. You will establish client’s needs and design appropriate solutions, maintain effective credit control procedures and work closely with internal Account Handlers, overseeing quality of work and supporting with technical and market information. You will ensure compliance is adhered to at all times in line with procedures and undertake training in line with agreed objectives and keep up to date with technical, legal and market developments.
The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience working within Commercial Insurance in a client facing role, preferably within a Broking environment. You will have excellent relationship management and communication skills. Progress with insurance industry qualifications would be preferred.
