Are you a commercial underwriter who is currently working in a trading environment?
Hays are representing a national insurance company who are looking to grow their commercial broking team in Bristol.
You will be aligned to a panel of brokers to trade commercial business within agreed class, segments and size parameters up to and beyond underwriting authority level (with referral where necessary).
Duties include negotiating with aligned brokers on allocated renewals, quotations and handle ad hoc enquiries.
Traders in this role will successfully negotiate face to face with brokers and by telephone, providing tailored solutions to broker and customer needs.
You will play a proactive role in developing of aligned broker accounts including prospecting with the support of the wider trading team.
