Business Development Executive (key post in this dynamic organisation)

As a result of unprecedented growth this progressive and dynamic Insurance Broker are currently looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to be pivotal in the development of a new office. Your remit will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, involving the development of commercial insurance business and the ongoing account management of your new portfolio.
About the Role:
You will be fully responsible for creating your own book of business, so will retain ongoing account management responsibility once the business has been secured. Full administration support will be provided.
You will be responsible for prospecting and securing new Commercial Insurance business utilising an existing database, a proven marketing resource, and excellent insurer relationships.
You will be part of a co-ordinated marketing approach and will benefit from administrative and technical support.
Reporting directly to the Directors, you will be an influential member of the business development team, with the opportunity to actively contribute to the strategy and approach of a fledgling office.

Key Skills/Experience Required:
A proven track record of success in business generation.
Commercial Insurance experience gained within either a broking or underwriting environment.
Broad technical knowledge of all classes of Commercial Insurance.
Excellent client liaison and relationship building skills.
Professional Qualifications Required:
Progression towards ACII would be beneficial, but a willingness to commence studying is essential.
Salary/Benefits Information:
A generous salary of up to £40,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications).
