Our client is a well established Insurance Broker, based in Northamptonshire, which was founded in the 1990’s and covers the UK. Their aim is to provide bespoke insurance cover to businesses. They have grown the company through acquisition and organic growth and employ over 30 staff.
The role of the Account Executive will primarily be to retain an existing book of business, together with some development of new business. You will visit clients at their premises to give guidance and advice on their insurance requirements, keeping within professional standards. Clients will be from predominantly the farming sector. You will establish client’s needs and design appropriate solutions, maintain effective credit control procedures and work closely with internal Account Handlers, overseeing quality of work and supporting with technical and market information. You will ensure compliance is adhered to at all times in line with procedures and undertake training in line with agreed objectives and keep up to date with technical, legal and market developments.
The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience working within Commercial Insurance, in a client facing role, preferably within a Broking environment. You will have excellent relationship management and communication skills. Progress with insurance industry qualifications would be preferred.
