Our client is a very profitable and expanding business with offices throughout England. Due to expansion they are looking to recruit a National Sales Manager to be located either at home or in the Midlands or South East.
The primary function of the role will be to deliver the annual new business budget for the company, to manage the company’s Sales Executives in order to ensure they deliver their individual new business targets. In addition to this you will maintain and achieve growth in income from existing clients, produce an annual sales plan for the business and review performance versus plan on a monthly basis, to monitor sales progress by applying a daily/ weekly/ monthly reporting structure across the business.
The principle objectives and responsibilities will include reporting to the Director responsible for this revenue stream and sitting on the Senior Management Team, developing a results orientated sales culture in the business, recruitment in order to develop the sales capability of the business.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of personal sales success within a commercial insurance environment, preferably broking, strong communication and trading skills and experience in managing sales people
