Commercial Account Handler
Location: Bristol
Salary: up to £20,000 + Benefits
A fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Account Handler to join one of the top brokerages within Bristol. As a Commercial Account Handler for this organisation your role will be to provide technical and administrative support to account directors / executives.
You will be responsible for assisting in the development of a profitable and growing SME account.
The ideal candidate will come from a Commercial Insurance Underwriting / Account Handling or Technician background
Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Account Handler you will be managing and building relationships with clients
Provide new business quotations for all classes of General Insurance on request
Where customer requests are beyond your range of experience or authority
Providing bespoke insurances for designated clients
Assist in the promotion of positive sales development of designated clients including cross-selling activities
Provide information and prepare risk presentations to designated clients
Skills:
Knowledge of the principles, practices and legalities of all major classes of General Insurance
The UK General Insurance market in respect of both Personal and Commercial insurances
Underwriting and rating factors, and how these are applied in relation to all major classes of Commercial insurance
Up to date with FSA Regulations applicable to Commercial and Retail Customers
