Role
Our client is seeking to hire an Investment Manager of exceptional calibre to assist in the origination of future real estate fund structuring, analysis, marketing and JV project collaboration in the countries of Romania and Bulgaria (and potentially other CEE states).
The Investment Manager will play a central role in preparation and delivery of future equity and finance raisings with both distribution and project JV partners.
Responsibilities
You will support the Managing Director in annual closed end fund raising activities in UK and Ireland including preparation of information memorandum, marketing presentations, distribution and management agreements. You will assess and implement investment strategies, devising appropriate valuation/business models using the support of the business analysis resources in Bulgaria as required as well as assist in managing the portfolio of current and future real estate projects, exploring fundamentally driven market opportunities in the region.
Develop and strengthen relationships with key potential UK and Irish based JV partners, investors and advisors operating in the region and continually update market knowledge to explore new opportunities and add value to existing and new projects, with an ability to identify and understand business risks.
Responsible for monitoring the overall performance of the existing and future managed assets in co-operation with both the Finance Manager and Business Analyst based in the region. Overseeing due corporate governance and due diligence process with JV partners.
Requirements
Ideal candidates will have asset management real estate experience, with a track record of delivery throughout career in similar environment. You will be excellent at excel modeling with solid knowledge and thorough understanding of valuation or corporate finance. You will ideally speak English and an additional European language. The position is London based but will require frequent travel as required.
