Area Premier Manager

Job Description

The Area Premier Manager (APM) (Regulated IFA) leads, coaches and develops a team of Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) and Level 4 Premier Relationship Managers (PRMs). They are responsible for delivering the Premier and Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) plan in their area and they do this through driving the performance of their team. They ensure that their team complies with the FSA's Treating the Customer Fairly legislation and delivers the company's Best Place to Bank strategy and ensure that growth is achieved in their area through the acquisition of customers meeting qualifying criteria, and effective cross selling by establishing and meeting customer needs. As the role is regulated they must be approved by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) as fit and proper to carry out their duties and they must maintain Competent Advisor status.
To succeed as an Area Premier Manager you will need to be achievement striving with a tendency to push towards goals. You should be tough enough to be firm on expected standards, but personable enough to put the message across without offending people.
