Responsibilities
Developing and transferring knowledge on MGA business.
Defining guidelines, best practice standards and strategies for underwriting of MGA business.
Developing concepts and defining business requirements for systems and reports for the steering and controlling of MGA business.
Consulting underwriting units regarding suitable business models, business partners and products in individual markets.
Performing quality assurance pre-binding for individual deals and post-binding by reviewing portfolios of underwriting units.
Positioning of the business as an intelligent and successful MGA underwriter in communication with its external stakeholders.
Setting up and managing the organisational unit and a virtual team of specialists.
Requirements
You will be degree educated, ideally in an economics, scientific or law-related discipline.
Having spent a minimum of 5 to 10 years in a leading insurance operation, experienced in MGA business distribution models and practical experience in a related discipline, you are experienced in identifying/analysing macro insurance and business model trends, assessing distribution models and translating these into portfolio assessment, monitoring and steering.
You possess an expertise in managing global processes and projects.
Excellent leadership and technical competence, a willingness to share knowledge, strong teamwork skills and an excellent command of oral and written English and German, are all essential.
