Student Actuary Financial Reporting Ireland

Part Qualified student Actuary required to join the Business Planning and Reporting team.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and re-forecasting key metrics for the business
• Building and maintaining reporting applications / spreadsheets and processes
• Regular production tasks within the annual control cycle
• Be fully competent in data reporting tools as appropriate including understanding file definitions and data structures within policy administration systems.
• Maintain a very good understanding of products and processes.
• Understand the bigger picture and be a driving force towards delivering an integrated MIS reflecting the performance of the company.
• Building up and maintaining strong links with the main stakeholders in this area (e.g. accounts, UK reporting teams, senior management and executive).
• Taking ownership of the process, including timetables and deadlines, pre-work etc.
• Report writing and presentation of results to management
