Senior Actuarial Specialist Life & Health

An excellent opportunity for a nearly/newly qualified actuary to join a team that will give wide exposure to all areas of financial reporting.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Financial management, e.g. recommending pricing and immunisation changes
• Financial modelling and analysis of potential acquisitions
• Monitor and manage risk and value drivers to minimise surprises and to add value
• Develop new processes to meet changing needs e.g. AoS, ICA, MCEV, survival modelling
• Ownership of a particular subfund
• Review financial reporting results for FSA, UK GAAP, TEV, MCEV and ICA including analysis of surplus
• Review results of monthly reporting, experience investigations, pricing, asset performance
• Supervise and coach team members
