Nearly/ Newly Qualified Finance Actuary Life & Health Ireland

Our client is looking for a nearly/newly qualified to play a key role in their reporting area.

Main responsibilities include:

Statutory and Internal Reporting

• Preparing Monthly, Quarterly and Annual US GAAP reports.
• Checking data we receive from the third party administration providers and fund managers.
• Performing experience and expense studies.
• Supporting the preparation of the Quarterly and Annual Statutory Returns.

Business planning and analysis

• Assisting the Finance Actuary in preparing the annual business plan.
• Supporting Finance and Administration in their understanding of technical product issues.

Develop reporting systems

• Assisting in the development of robust actuarial reporting systems.
• Establishing and maintaining appropriate internal controls
• Reviewing reserving and accounting practices in partnership with Finance Department
