Actuarial Assistant (Corporate Pensions) South East

A great opportunity for an actuarial student from any discipline to join this global insurer in a varied role covering their new and existing annuity business:

Main responsibilities will include:

• Assist with pricing of new annuities business lines, including quotations:

1. Bulk purchase annuities
2. Periodic payment annuities
3. Monitoring CPA pricing
4. New products

• Deal with new business issues related to processing new business in these areas, including

1. Investment issues
2. Underwriting
3. Quotations (including resolving data queries)
4. Liaising with sales and marketing
5. Resolving technical issues on behalf of offices in the US

• Monitoring in force portfolios, eg.

1. BPA, PPA, Living Time valuation, investment matching or data cleansing issues
2. Liaising with service providers
3. Liaising with corporate actuarial in respect of reporting or reserving issues
