Operations & Development Manager Ireland

Reporting to the Appointed Actuary Designate, key responsibilities will include:

• Provide management oversight of product developments including review of proposed design to ensure
• Responsible to recommend sign off of both new products and funds to management and to ensure that the management team’s requirements are met in the product development process. To work with the business development team to ensure that sign off can be given.
• To provide actuarial oversight to the Unit Pricing and Fund Administration area.
• To assist in the design and implementation of a suitable control environment to ensure that all classes of unit holders and shareholders are treated equitably and in line with the issued terms and conditions and to minimize the occurrence of unit pricing errors.
• To play a lead role in investigating potential pricing errors and implementing compensation strategies where necessary.
• To provide actuarial support to the implementation and review of business processes, to ensure new product initiatives can be administered and to reduce risks in existing processes.
• Other work as directed by the Corporate Actuary.

Suit an Actuary with up to 5 years pqe and good management experience.
