Reinsurance Life and Health Pricing London

Global reinsurer requires a nearly or recently qualified actuary for a varied role in their pricing team who deliver quotes to the UK market. The team works on work on Life, Critical Illness, Income Protection and Group business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Setting the pricing basis and producing the premium rates for tenders and reprices
• Coordinating and assessing input to the pricing basis from other teams, including claims and underwriting
• Monitoring the company's competitive positioning and seeking to understand areas where we can improve
• Liaising with the client to understand their requirements and garner their feedback.
• You will also deputise for the Head of the Pricing Team.
• You will need previous experience of protection pricing and a client-focussed approach to your work.
