Our client are a dominant force in the South Wales Insurance market and their Claims Management have moved into Specialisation and have reviewed the Home structure to maximise the benefits of Specialisation.  Our client are looking to recruit a Team Leader to lead a ‘specialist' team as they evolve through Specialisation.  This is an excellent opportunity to lead and motivate teams through the changing times ahead.
 
Initially you will be responsible for leading a specialist team and providing them with the direction to adapt and operate effectively within the Home structure.  A key challenge for this role is to motivate and inspire individuals, foster a team working spirit and creating a performance driven culture within that team.
 
Our client are seeking a people focussed team leader who can encourage and support the team to outperform individual and team KPI's. They will also have to be able to analyse team performance and extract key areas for development and focus, which enable the team to support the aims of the specialist teams.
 
The successful candidate will challenge thinking and foster new ways of thinking.  You will be an excellent people manager with the ability to influence and network across functions. You must be driven by performance achievement and be seen as a role model.
 
The ideal candidate will have had extensive experience in a claims environment within Home.  Your people skills will be evident through your own performance and attitude.  You must be able to show a commercial understanding of claims management and be able to articulate how our client should motivate their teams to further develop into a high performing claim management team.
 
You will believe strongly in the development of others through performance management techniques. You will be motivated by change, be performance driven and enjoy taking on new challenges
