Sales Director
Location: South West
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000
Due to the progressive nature of our client’s involvement within the Insurance Market we are now recruiting for a Sales Director. You will provide full sales support to the Regional Directors by delivering leadership, control and direction on all aspects of sales and business development.
The key aspect of your role will be to develop and execute an effective sales and marketing plan, to include recruitment of quality sales people
Responsibilities:
Ongoing design and development of the business strategy for your areas of responsibility, in accordance with business needs
Ensure respective business areas are managed within budget
Initiate and manage cross-selling campaigns to maximise sales opportunities with existing customers
Introduce and manage a successful lead generation programme
Ensure workable and practical new business initiatives are embedded within the business to ensure organic growth in line with business expectations
Measurement of the whole sales process for each branch (lead generation to conversion)
Initiate and develop a rolling recruitment programme which identifies and attracts new and experienced talent into the business
Assume joint responsibility for managing the overall sales / marketing budget
Any other ad hoc support to the Regional Directors to enable them to achieve sales performance targets
Skills:
Extensive experience of the Insurance and Broking market
