Sales Support Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Administrator to join a friendly team to take responsibility for various group life, health and pension schemes.  You should have a keen interest in Financial Services and have several years experience in a similar role. 
 
You will take full responsibility for all aspects of running the schemes and you will be the key point of contact for the employers and the insurers. 

Responsibilities will include:

Processing joiners and leavers to the schemes
Calculation of contribution and premium amendments
Scheme renewals
Calculation of annual increments for the pension schemes
Preparation and submission of monthly pension contributions payments
Dealing with incoming correspondence and queries
Updating client records on 1st Adviser Office on receipt of written correspondence or verbal communication
Working with and manipulating Excel spreadsheets
 
 
Skills required:
 
A good knowledge of life assurance, health and pensions products is essential
Understanding of GPPP/Final salary/Stakeholder pension schemes
Progress towards the Certificate in Financial Planning would be advantage
Computer literate
Ability to work with Microsoft Office programs
Experience with 1st Adviser Office or similar back office system
Good oral and written communication skills.
Good standard of numeracy.
An ability to organise and prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
Confidence and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Good self-motivation and organisational skills
