Pricing Controller

A vacancy has arisen for a Postcode and Pricing Manager within the Personal & Commercial Department based at West Malling.

Main Responsibilities:
To develop suitable MI systems requirements and pricing models to enable the analysis of both postcode and pricing data.
 
Analyse postcode and pricing data and make appropriate recommendations, having liaised with the Actuarial team.
 
Ensure there is an acceptable customer profile based on analysis of in-house data and external sources.
 
Monitor marketplace to ascertain competitive position, communicate this with appropriate recommendations.
 
To ensure the postcode and pricing strategy fits with the departmental plan and vision.
 
Analyse data and set postcode and pricing parameters for new products, liaising with the Actuarial team.
 
Communicate effectively all postcode and pricing issues to the business area(s) and Actuarial team.

Liaison with the Actuarial department.

 
Knowledge and Skills:  
Experience in general insurance.
Self-motivated.
Strong organisational and analytical skills.
Good working knowledge of Excel and Access.
Good communication skills.
An awareness of pricing methodologies.
Graduate calibre.
