Paraplanner

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide a paraplanning service to the company's IFAs.
Liaise with suppliers and other professional advisers to issue business written in a timely manner.
Analyse info obtained from suppliers and clients
Market research
Prepare suitability reports or comprehensive financial plans as appropriate
Quotes
Put files together for IFA meetings
Check all forms are complete and files are compliant
Submit new business to providers
Chase up until pipeline business is On Risk
Keep up to date with new product, technical or legislative changes within the industry
Comply at all times with the FSMA 2000 and the FSA Principles and Codes of Practice

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Well organised
Good GCSEs in Maths & English
Financial services administration experience desirable
Certificate in Financial Planning and advantage
