Project Accountant Bermuda

A leading global provider of specialty insurance products is looking for a qualified accountant to join its group finance function based in Bermuda.
You will be Responsibility for the Group strategic planning and re-forecasting function and subsequent performance analysis, preparation of financial statements, regulatory filings and other external reports as necessary, preparation of reports for Management and the Board, documenting and maintaining internal controls and procedures, provide technical support and analyses for specific deals and transactions, assist in resolution of finance issues as they arise, manage ad hoc projects, providing timely and accurate conclusions and Ensuring compliance with all finance related covenants in agreements.
Applicants must hold a full professional accounting qualification with a minimum of three years post qualification experience preferably gained in an insurance/reinsurance environment, strong knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS, practical experience with accounting systems and controls and proven financial, analytical and organisational skills.
