Non Motor Underwriter - Surrey - Up to £40,000 Doe plus excellent benefits
Our client is actively seeking an experienced Non Motor Underwriter to join their existing and expanding team. Acting with the companies best interests you will use your professional skills in the role to optimise both the short term and the long term financial performance of the company.
The Underwriter shall ensure he/she:
Handles all renewal and adjustment enquiries generated from the allocated client portfolio in accordance with the companies laid down service standards.
Compile and distribute statistics as required
Complies with the requirements of insurers delegated underwriting authority agreement
Operates within the confines of the agreed personal delegated underwriting authority as defined
Assists other departmental underwriters with their allocated workload at the behest of the department manager, particularly in times of staff absence
Reports complaints effectively in line with the company's complaints procedure.
The ideal candidate will posses a wealth of commercial underwriting knowledge of Property and Liability risks.
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
