Operational Control Manager

An Operational Control Manager is required within the Wealth Management Operations department at this financial services market leader based in Central Bristol.
Wealth Management Operations covers several business areas as follows:

- Life & Pensions Administration in Bristol & Southampton
- Investment Services in Southampton
- Stockbroker Services and Investment Funds administration in Warwick
- Probate Services in Sheffield
- Trust Services in Southampton Duties:
To ensure consistent adherence to company standards and Regulatory requirements across Wealth Management Operations and it's business partners.
To undertake themed reviews and due diligence checks of generic/higher risk activities within Wealth Management Operations and outsourced operations.
To identify and assess areas of greatest operational risk, and to work with business partners to formulate mitigating/corrective actions.
To ensure that the service delivered to the customer is consistent the company's Treating Customers Fairly strategy.

The jobholder will be based in the Bristol office, but must be mobile (able to work in other UK Wealth Management Operations & Outsourcer sites as and when review activity is undertaken).
