The Job/Duties
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join this exciting Financial Services business offering investors the ability to purchase funds at discounted costs.
As Client Services Administrator your role will be to process corporate action events, within clear FSA guidelines. The role involves liaising with other departments and responding to any queries raised by Customer services, in a timely manner.
Your key duties will include:-
Deal with any Client/IFA queries and complaints both over the telephone and in writing.
Process all equity, unit trusts, and OEIC accumulation units received, with high levels of accuracy.
Process corporate actions, using the internal database.
Ensure that all new systems/procedures are followed within guidelines.
Undertake all duties efficiently and using own initiative.

The Person
You will have at least 2 years experience of working in a similar role and ideally have progressed towards the IAQ qualification.
Previous experience of dividend processing would be desirable, along with a good understanding of investment products and share types.
Other desirable experience would include:
Ability to reconcile stock holdings
Good understanding of various types of corporate actions
Understanding of tax treatments for UK and overseas income received
Ability to calculate entitlements for dividends and corporate events
You will also be a confident team player, with clear communication skills. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a sometimes pressured environment is also key.

IAQ or progression towards would be a distinct advantage
