Purpose of Role:
To increase levels of new business by proactively building upon existing relationships, establishing new relationships and providing assistance with product information and quotations to Financial Advisors.
Key Accountabilities:
To meet or exceed personal targets as set at the beginning of each production year.
To proactively maintain and develop a panel of Financial Advisers by:-
(a) Enhancing and extending relationships with current Financial Advisors
(b) Actively pursuing new relationships with Financial Advisors
(c) Following up quotation requests with the intention of securing the business
To follow through on leads obtained from Director Individual Marketing, Sales Manager, Network Development Manager and Sales Consultant colleagues.
To actively promote the product range and services the company can provide by involvement in structured, targeted campaigns jointly with Individual Marketing.
To maintain a complete record of work including the provision of own statistics on a weekly and monthly basis
To be actively aware of issues in the market place, including competitors that will affect your panel of Financial Advisors, and advise the Sales Manager accordingly.
To take the necessary action to resolve queries and problems raised
To communicate with Individual Marketing on a regular basis, passing relevant information obtained from Financial Advisors, and receiving new information on marketing initiatives and product changes
To liaise with Underwriters and New Business areas in following up queries and in support of applications received.
Required Knowledge & Skills
FPC Qualified
A background in the Financial Services Sector
Drive and commitment needed to succeed
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
IT literate with good key board skills
Creative thinking
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise your workload as well as handling multiple tasks at once.
